Sophie Fidler, one of our location designers, shares her notes, thoughts, and inspirations behind a new workspace in Montreal's St Henri neighbourhood.

Right on Montreal's Lachine Canal stands a huge brick factory building. It’s both commercial and residential, housing many artists, designers, and agencies. You can feel the productivity in the air.

The space itself is big and bright; an exposed-brick wall on the far wall holds two floor-to-ceiling windows, which flood the lounge section with natural light.

A long table seats 16, so there's room for everyone and their things. An additional four can opt for a smaller round table, situated near the back. This space also includes a kitchen, making it perfect for events and those meetings that drag on a little too long.

The room showcases some classic furniture silhouettes, with artwork from Oak Gallery hanging on the walls. This space is sure to inspire.

Booooook it.
